No Weapon that is Formed

Sometimes in life we can be thrown curve balls that we never saw coming. We wonder why people attack us, we wonder why others lie to us, and we wonder why we're rejected when all we try to do is help. Well, Jesus experienced all of this and then some. Just as it states in the book of Ecclesiastes 1:9, there is nothing new under the sun. The evil and evils in and of this world is not going to vanish just because we've arrived. So, what must we do? How do we salvage the remnant left behind from crushed feelings, failed relationships, and broken promises? The answer is indeed in the Bible.

Now, some may say that is an old adage that has been repeated many times, but does that make it any less true? Because you know something or of something and is tired of hearing it, does that make it any less potent? It can, in your life, if you allow it to, but that does not make it any less real. When God said I am the beginning and the end, He meant it. When He lets us know that He holds all power in His hand, He spoke truth. And in the beginning, there was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. I believe it.

So, when things get you down and people disappoint you and some talk behind your back, trust in the Lord. He is our very present help in our time of need. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28, KJV

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the Lord." Isaiah 54:17, KJV

This has been one of my favorite verses throughout the bible. I have carried this with me throughout my life. If you believe this then you are truly putting your trust in the Lord. He will see you through in every situation. If God loved us while we were living in sin how much more does He love us when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior? If God loved us when were enemies to Christ how much more does He love us now that we willing accept His Son and serve Him. I know if God could love me through all my foolishness when I was in the world living deep in sin then I know that He loves me even more now. Another verse also comes to mind Romans 8:28 “All things work together for the good those that love God and are called according to His purpose.” This is yet another powerful piece of scripture that we can use whenever times get hard. Realize that this battle is not yours it the Lords. He will fight your battle if you bring your burdens to Him and leave them there.
